TikTok Feed Not Loading: How to Fix It
Your For You page is blank, stuck on a spinner, or keeps replaying the same videos you've already seen.
Try these in order
- Pull down to refresh Swipe down from the top of the For You page to force TikTok to fetch new videos (Vpnvox).
- Force close TikTok and reopen it Swipe the app away in the app switcher and launch it again (Vpnvox).
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data This instantly rules out a bad connection on one network (iTechGuides).
- Turn off your VPN A VPN or private DNS can stop the feed refreshing at all (Vpnvox).
- Clear TikTok's cache Profile > Menu > Settings and privacy > Free up space > Clear next to Cache, then reopen the app (TikTok Support).
- Update TikTok and restart your phone Then check that battery saver and low data mode aren't restricting the app (Vpnvox).
- Log out and back in If the feed is still stale, sign out, sign in again, and spend 10 to 15 minutes liking, following and skipping to retrain your recommendations (Vpnvox).
Still stuck? If the feed fails on several devices and networks, it's likely a TikTok-side outage — wait it out rather than reinstalling (iTechGuides).
