TikTok Views Stuck at Zero: How to Fix It
Your new TikTok videos are stuck at 0 views or getting far fewer views than usual.
What exactly is happening?
Try these in order
- Turn on analytics. Go to Profile → Menu → TikTok Studio → Get started under Analytics → Turn on (TikTok Support).
- Check whether the post is ineligible for For You. Open the video → More insights (or More options) → Analytics. If there's an ineligible notice, tap it to see why (TikTok Support).
- Appeal if TikTok got it wrong. From that ineligible-post notice, tap Appeal at the top (TikTok Support).
- Check your account notices. Go to Inbox → System notifications → Account updates for violations or restrictions (TikTok Support).
- Give it time. Views on TikTok naturally rise and fall, and a new video can take hours to start getting views (TikTok Support).
- Check your account is public. Private accounts only reach approved followers, so new videos won't spread.
Still stuck? Use the analytics dashboard to compare against your normal numbers. A single slow video is normal; every video at zero usually means a restriction (TikTok Support).
